Nick's B-24D Liberator. Nick, from Long Beach, CA, was also the first to build the 120" version of Nick Ziroli's B-25.
Sam Leonard's F-4 Phantom is powered by a Ram 1000 turbine, weighs 26 pounds and has a 52" wingspan.
Sam's Phantom is built from a BVM kit and is modeled after an F-4 based at Pt. Mugu NAS. He uses only BSI CA's.
Dave Malchione, Jr., on the right, piloted Sam's F-4 to third place in Team Scale at Top Gun 2001.
